This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop and repaired to full playability. This horn comes with both its original Bb/A main tuning slide and also a non-original regular Bb main tuning slide. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, there are a some small dings as well as light pitting over much of the horn. The valves move well, but show pitting and wear. The bell is made from French brass with a very tight bell taper and the valve casings are solid copper. This is a very unusual instrument, as it was only made for three years in 1920, 1921, and 1922.
